About the Brand

Maison Francis Kurkdjian was founded in 2009 by Francis Kurkdjian and Marc Chaya. Marc Chaya took over the management of the company, while Francis Kurkdjian defined the creative vision of the eponymous collection.

The brand conceives its collection as a "fragrance wardrobe" and builds on the tradition of French luxury perfumery. In 2016, it joined the Comité Colbert, an association that promotes French luxury and the art of living. A year later, the LVMH group announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the company.

Aqua Vitae is part of the collection of a house that combines Marc Chaya's leadership with Francis Kurkdjian's creative vision.
