About the Brand

Salvatore Ferragamo founded his first company in Florence in 1927, focusing on the development, manufacture and sale of women's footwear. In 1971, the brand began developing a collection of silk and accessories.

Ferragamo Parfums was established in 1997 as a joint venture with Bulgari focused on the creation and distribution of fragrances. In 2001, Salvatore Ferragamo bought out Bulgari's entire stake in the company.

Foreste di Seta is thus part of the brand's creative output, whose history leads from footwear through silk and accessories to fragrances.
