About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded by Javier Goyeneche in 2009. The brand name was inspired by the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project. Working in collaboration with the fishing industry, it collects marine waste and transforms it into yarns and fabrics. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first fashion company in Spain to receive B Corp certification. In 2022, B Corp ranked it among Best for the World, placing it in the top 5% of companies in the environmental category.
