Ecoalf Condeknit Sneakers are lightweight men's trainers with a flexible and breathable knitted upper. They are designed for everyday city wear and are also suitable for longer walks. They are part of the Ocean Yarn collection, and recycled materials make up part of their upper, insole, midsole, outsole and laces.

About the brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who serves as its president. The brand name is derived from the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. After three years of research and development, the brand launched its first collection in 2012 and opened its first branded store in Madrid.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project. This project sorts collected ocean waste and converts plastic into flakes and granules, from which polyester yarn can be produced. The Ocean Yarn used by Ecoalf is made from plastic bottles and other waste recovered from the ocean.

In March 2018, Ecoalf obtained B Corp certification, becoming the first Spanish fashion company to receive this certification. It achieved a score of 122.7 points in the B Impact assessment. In 2022, it was listed among the B Corp "Best for the World" and ranked among the top 5% of assessed B Corps in the environmental category.
