About the brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who also serves as the brand's president. Its goal is to reduce the wasteful use of natural resources and to create recycled products comparable in quality and design to non-recycled ones.

Ecoalf presented its first collection and flagship store in Madrid in 2012. In 2015, the Ecoalf Foundation was established to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which collects marine waste and transforms it into yarns and textiles.
