LEGO® Technic 42175 Volvo FMX Truck & Volvo EC230 Electric Excavator is a construction project for children aged 10 and up. While building and playing, they can work with steering, a moving engine, a tilting ramp, and pneumatic bucket controls.

Key Features

• The build consists of 2,274 pieces and is from 2024.
• The finished model measures over 8 cm in height, 68 cm in length, and 13 cm in width.
• The truck can be steered and positioned as desired.
• A tilting cab provides access to the mechanism, beneath which sits a six-cylinder engine with moving pistons.
• Both the truck and the excavator have opening doors.
• The excavator rotates 360 degrees on its tracks.
• A pneumatic pump controls the raising and lowering of the bucket.
• Movement is provided by mechanical functions; the model is not motorised.

Children can therefore work directly with various mechanisms and movement functions of the LEGO Technic range, both during building and play.

Use / Assembly

The trailer can be detached from the truck, and by lowering its ramp, the excavator can drive off. Using the bucket and chains, a charging station can be raised and lowered, then attached to the excavator.

The LEGO Builder app allows you to zoom in and rotate the model in 3D, track building progress, and save sets.

Warning: small parts present a choking hazard.

The individual controls connect the building experience with subsequent play focused on moving the models.
