About the Brand

Rocco Barocco moved to Rome in 1962, where he began working in the ateliers of Patrick de Barentzen and Giles. He then went on to collaborate professionally with Giles for ten years, beginning in 1964. He opened his own atelier in 1974 on Rome's Piazza di Spagna, and the brand presented its first women's prêt-à-porter collection in 1979.

Rocco Barocco's accolades include the Maschera d'Argento for haute couture in 1967, the Premio Singer in New York and the Premio di Pittsburgh in 1973.
