About the Brand

Serge Lutens was born in 1942 in Lille, France. In 1968 he joined Christian Dior as artistic director of decorative cosmetics development, where he worked for approximately 12 years.

He began his collaboration with Shiseido in 1980. Following the opening of Les Salons du Palais-Royal Shiseido in 1992, he devoted himself consistently to the creation of fragrances. His own brand was established in 2000 as Parfums Beauté Serge Lutens and later adopted the name Serge Lutens.

The brand favours high-quality raw materials of natural origin in the production of its fragrances. Serge Lutens was appointed Commander of the French Order of Arts and Letters in 2007.
