About the brand

Issey Miyake founded MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO in 1970. ISSEY MIYAKE INTERNATIONAL INC., now ISSEY MIYAKE INC., was established in 1971 and opened its first store in Tokyo in 1974. The brand's first fragrance, L'EAU D'ISSEY, was launched in 1992 through a collaboration between MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO and the French company BPI.
