About the Brand
The Dr. Hauschka cosmetics range was launched in 1967. It was developed through the collaboration of chemist Rudolf Hauschka and researcher and cosmetician Elisabeth Sigmund, who met in 1962. The brand continues to operate in Eckwälden in southern Germany on the grounds that Rudolf Hauschka acquired in the late 1950s, and a number of production steps are still carried out by hand there.
Dr. Hauschka thus builds on the collaboration of its founders and to this day carries out part of its production using manual processes in southern Germany.
