Product description Ecoalf Misty Ballerina White

Women's ballet flats Ecoalf Misty Ballerina White in a creamy white shade can be paired with both casual and more formal outfits. Their vegan construction, breathable material and recyclable design make them a versatile model for a variety of looks.

Key Features

  • Easier end-of-life processing is supported by three recyclable main components: the upper, insole and outsole. The entire model is certified as 100% recyclable.
  • The main fabric makes use of plastic bottles recovered from the ocean, consisting of 85% Ocean Yarn made from recycled polyester and 15% polyamide. Ocean Yarn is produced as part of the Upcycling the Oceans project.
  • The lining contains 60% polyurethane and 40% recycled polyester.
  • The insole is made of 67% polyurethane and 33% recycled polyester.
  • The outsole is composed of 30% post-consumer recycled thermoplastic rubber, 27% calcium carbonate, 23% natural rubber and 20% synthetic rubber.
  • The footwear is vegan, breathable and contains no metal components.
  • The model is part of the Our Ocean Yarn Collection.

You get breathable vegan ballet flats whose construction and material composition are designed around the use of recycled materials and subsequent recyclability.

Use / Construction

  • The ballet flats are designed to be paired with both casual and more formal outfits.
  • The upper is stitched directly to the outsole without the use of adhesive.
  • The glue-free construction allows for easier disassembly and recycling of the footwear at the end of its lifecycle.

The Misty model gives you the freedom to switch between different styles while choosing a construction designed for easier disassembly.

About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded by Javier Goyeneche in 2009 with the goal of creating recycled products with quality and design comparable to non-recycled goods. In 2015, the Ecoalf Foundation was established to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which focuses on collecting and repurposing ocean waste.

In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification. In 2022, B Corp named it among the Best for the World, placing it in the top 5% of companies in the environmental category.

You are choosing a brand that combines the development of recycled products with a concrete project focused on making use of ocean waste.
