Eau de Rhubarbe Écarlate was created by perfumer Christine Nagel. It was her first cologne for Hermes. The published ingredients list includes alcohol, water, dipropylene glycol and a fragrance composition, as well as limonene, linalool, geraniol, citronellol, citral, farnesol and eugenol, among others.

The combination of rhubarb, lantana and white musk offers a fresh fragrance with a fruity-citrus character and a delicate olfactory emotion.
