About the Brand

The LEGO Group was founded by Ole Kirk Kristiansen in 1932. The name LEGO was formed by shortening the Danish words "leg godt", meaning "play well". The privately held company is headquartered in Billund, Denmark, and the current form of the interlocking LEGO brick was introduced in 1958.

You are therefore choosing a set from a Danish company whose history dates back to 1932.
