About the brand

The Jaguar brand grew out of the Swallow Sidecar Company, founded in September 1922 by William Lyons and William Walmsley. The Jaguar name appeared in the history of the automotive brand in 1935.

Lalique Group acquired the licence for Jaguar Fragrances in 2002. The first fragrance launched under this licence was Jaguar Classic in the same year.

Classic Chromite is thus part of the Jaguar fragrance line developed under licence by Lalique Group.
