About the Brand

LEGO Group was founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen and the company continues to be owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family. The name LEGO was created by shortening the Danish words "leg godt", meaning "play well". The current form of the LEGO brick with its tube-and-stud connection system was introduced in 1958. The mission of LEGO Group is to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow through learning through play.

For you, this means a set from a brand that connects its mission with learning through play.
