About the Brand

Miyake Design Studio was founded by Issey Miyake on April 11, 1970. The brand's first fragrance, L'Eau d'Issey, was created in 1992 in collaboration between the studio and the French company Beauté Prestige International. The studio oversees the creative direction of the fragrances, from the initial concept through bottle design and name to graphics and packaging.

Issey Miyake fragrances are thus created with creative oversight that encompasses the concept itself as well as the final visual form.
