Composition

The surfactants used are of purely plant-based origin and the formula contains no petrochemical ingredients.

• Sugar surfactants make up 5–15% of the composition.
• Fatty alcohol sulphate accounts for 1–5%.
• Plant-based alcohol, ethanol, makes up 1–5%.
• Table salt and citrates are each present in amounts of less than 1%.
• The ingredient list includes water, alkyl polyglycoside C10–C16, fatty alcohol sulphate sodium salt C8–C14, denatured alcohol, sodium chloride and sodium citrate.
• The product carries NCP, CSE and Vegan Society certifications.

The formula combines plant-based surfactants with a composition free from fragrances, dyes, preservatives and petrochemical ingredients.

Use and Dosage

• For hand dishwashing, dose approximately 3 ml of the product into 5 litres of water.
• The product can also be applied directly to a washing sponge.
• At temperatures below 10 °C, it may thicken and become cloudy. This change will disappear after warming and, if necessary, gentle shaking.

The dosage method can be adapted to washing in water or direct application to a sponge.

About the Brand

Sonett was founded in 1977 as one of the first manufacturers of ecological laundry and cleaning products. The impetus for establishing the brand was the research of Johannes Schnorr, who in the late 1960s drew attention to water pollution caused by poorly biodegradable surfactants. Sonett laundry and cleaning products are manufactured at the company's plant in Deggenhausen in southern Germany.
