Product description Weleda Skin Food Light 30 ml

Weleda Skin Food Light 30 ml is a lighter version of the iconic Skin Food care, designed to provide nourishment and comfort to the skin while absorbing more quickly and feeling less dense. It is ideal for daily use when the skin calls for hydration, softening, and soothing, but you don't want the feeling of a "heavy" cream. Its texture is particularly suitable for normal to dry skin, for combination skin in areas where hydration is needed, and for spring and summer when the classic Skin Food might be too rich for some. The cream helps to reduce the feeling of tightness, supports the softness of the skin, and leaves it more supple and smooth to the touch. Skin Food Light often proves useful as a quick SOS care when the skin is tired, dehydrated, or exposed to wind and cold. The result is a fresh, comfortable feeling and a "plumper" appearance of the skin without unnecessary shine.

Skin Food Light provides immediate relief to dry skin. The light lotion combining organic sunflower oil with extracts of pansy, chamomile, and calendula absorbs quickly and provides the skin with a solid dose of hydration and soothing, protects it from drying out, and supports its protective barrier. Weleda Skin Food Light day cream is a further development of the popular Skin Food cream from Weleda, which, unlike the original, is even lighter and therefore absorbs faster into the skin—making it ideal for use on vacation or longer trips.

It immediately provides dry skin with ample valuable hydration and is suitable for use on the face and all other parts of the body. Ideally, the non-greasy cream contains many valuable natural ingredients, including organic sunflower oil, organic cocoa butter, organic beeswax, and organic shea butter, making the skin pleasantly soft and supple immediately after application.

Usage

Apply the cream to clean skin of the face, neck, and possibly décolleté, ideally after toner or serum. A small amount is sufficient—spread it in the palms and gently massage it into the skin until absorbed. In the morning, it can serve as a day cream under makeup, as the lighter consistency usually layers well and does not leave as greasy a film as heavier creams. In the evening, you can use it as a more nourishing end to your routine, or apply a slightly larger amount to drier areas (such as the cheeks) as a local "wrap." It also works great on dry areas outside the face—elbows, hands, or dry flakes around the nose. If you have very dry skin, you can combine Skin Food Light with a few drops of facial oil or alternate it with classic Skin Food according to the season. During the day, don't forget SPF—the cream is a nourishing step but does not replace sun protection.

  • For face and body.
  • For dry and cracked skin.

Many people suffer from dry skin, not just on hot summer days. But don't worry: with the rich daily care of Weleda Skin Food Light, this widespread phenomenon can be easily and quickly eliminated at home and on the go.

For use, simply apply the cream to the desired areas of the skin and massage in circular motions.

Ingredients

Weleda Skin Food Light is based on traditional plant extracts and caring components that are typical for the Skin Food range. Formulations in this range often feature herbal extracts like calendula, chamomile, or pansy, known for their soothing and caring properties. Emollient components and plant oils or butters also play an important role, helping to lock in hydration, soften the skin's surface, and protect it from drying out. The exact composition (INCI) may vary slightly depending on the current batch or market, so if you're monitoring specific ingredients (such as fragrances or certain types of oils), I recommend checking the complete list directly on the product packaging or in the item details in the e-shop. For sensitive skin, it's always good to do a tolerance test on a small area first.

Packaging

Practical 30 ml packaging is ideal for handbags, travel, and as a "starter" size if you want to try Skin Food Light first. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it doesn't take up space and you can easily take it to work, in the car, or on a weekend trip. The packaging is usually designed to dispense the cream well without wasting it—you can squeeze out exactly how much you need for your face or local dry areas. To maintain quality, I recommend storing at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and always closing it well after use. The 30 ml size is also great as a complement to a larger packaging at home—one cream on the shelf, the other in the bag.

Additional info

You'll love Skin Food Light if you want a universal cream that can handle regular daily care and quick rescue of dry areas. It's a type of product that is handy to have on hand year-round: in summer as lighter nourishment, in transitional periods as reliable protection against wind, and in winter as a supplement to richer care (or for less dry skin even as the main cream). For very dry or stressed skin, layering can be a great strategy—first a hydrating serum, then Skin Food Light, and on the most problematic areas a small amount of classic Skin Food. If you use makeup, it's worth letting the cream absorb for a minute; the skin then tends to be smoother and look more dewy. And if you're bothered by dry hands or cuticles, this cream often pleasantly surprises even beyond the face. In the e-shop, it's an excellent tip for a small but very useful product that won't get lost in any cosmetic bag.
