Fragrance and Composition

Sea is an eau de parfum launched in 2023. It was created by French perfumer Anne Flipo.

• Top note: mandarin, also known as tangerine.
• Heart: violet leaf and floral notes.
• Base: woody notes and patchouli.
• Concentration: Eau de Parfum.

The marine impression of the composition is complemented by a salty, slightly leathery seaweed accord. All three LAND·SEA·AIR fragrances share a floral-woody base with patchouli.

The full disclosed composition is Alcohol Denat., Parfum, Aqua, Limonene, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Linalool, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol and Citral.

Usage

Sea can be worn on its own or layered with the Land and Air fragrances. The trio offers a total of seven individual or combined variations. According to the brand, combining Sea and Air creates a marine-citrus combination.

Layering allows you to change the resulting character of the fragrance using three compositions from a single trilogy.

Packaging

• Volume: 100 ml.
• The bottle uses recycled aluminium and glass.
• A removable screw pump allows the bottle to be refilled.
• The outer packaging is made from recyclable and biodegradable paper containing 5–10% seaweed.
• The packaging is produced using 100% renewable energy and printed with water-based lacquer ink.

The packaging combines a refillable bottle with the use of recycled, recyclable and biodegradable materials.

About the Brand

Mercedes-Benz and INCC Parfums have been collaborating on fragrances since 2011. They launched their first joint fragrance, Mercedes-Benz for Men, in 2012.

Mercedes-Benz Parfums works with French glassmakers and uses recycled and recyclable glass. Fragrance compositions are created with perfumers from various parts of the world using carefully selected ingredients. The licensing partner INCC declares that Mercedes-Benz fragrances are developed in accordance with the principles of ethical and ecological responsibility.
