Product description Samsara Eau de Toilette for Women 75 ml
Fragrance and Composition
The distinctive composition is built on a combination of jasmine, ylang-ylang, and sandalwood:
- the top notes consist of citrus tones,
- the heart unfolds with ylang-ylang and jasmine,
- the base contains sandalwood, iris, vanilla, and tonka beans.
Absolute of large-flowered jasmine, sourced primarily from India, brings a green, fruity jasmine tone. Sandalwood essence, mainly from Australia, creates a woody, creamy tone. Ylang-ylang from the Comoros Islands has a floral, sunny character.
The current edition in the Les Légendaires collection was introduced in 2021. The original Samsara was created in 1989 as a declaration of love by Jean-Paul Guerlain to his wife.
The first three ingredients include alcohol, fragrance, and water. The composition also lists limonene, coumarin, linalool, citronellol, eugenol, geraniol, and citral.
You get an intense fragrance that combines a citrus opening with a floral heart and a creamy, woody base.
