Rose 31 belongs to the floral-woody-musky fragrance family. In the top notes, rose meets cumin, while the heart is complemented by vetiver and cedar. The base is composed of musk, guaiac wood, agarwood also known as oud, olibanum and labdanum.

The warm, spicy and woody elements of the composition include cumin, olibanum, cedar and amber. Guaiac wood, cistus and prominent musky tones also appear in the background.

About the brand

Le Labo was founded in 2006 by two friends. The brand's first laboratory was opened at 233 Elizabeth Street in the Nolita neighbourhood of New York City.

In its manifesto, the brand emphasises artisanal practices, which include hand-picking roses, hand-pouring candles and hand-preparing perfumes. Le Labo products are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Since 2022, the brand has been a certified B Corporation.
