PRORASO Red shaving soap for hard beards in a tube helps soften thick and coarse beards for easier shaving. It is particularly suitable for dry skin and for classic wet shaving with a brush.

Key Benefits

The smooth, dense and creamy consistency transforms into a compact lather when used correctly. The soap promotes a smooth glide of the shaving tool, protects the skin during shaving and leaves it soft and moisturised.

While shaving, you get softening of hard beards, the necessary glide and care for dry skin.

Ingredients

• Shea butter
• Sandalwood oil
• Coconut oil listed as Cocos Nucifera Oil
• Glycerin

The soap is made by hot saponification. The reaction to achieve a creamy consistency continues overnight, and subsequent storage in steel containers gives it the desired texture and stability over 3–4 days.

The formula with shea butter, sandalwood and coconut oil undergoes a process that results in a stable creamy consistency.

Use and Dosage

• Apply approximately 2 cm of soap to the dampened bristles of the brush.
• Work it onto the face using circular brush movements.
• Continue until a creamy and compact lather forms.

The recommended procedure prepares the soap for classic wet shaving with a brush.

About the Brand

The PRORASO brand was established in 1948 in the laboratories of Ludovico Martelli, a company founded in Florence in 1908. Piero Martelli created a pre-shave cream that was initially used by professional barbers. The company is today managed by the fourth generation of the family, and PRORASO products are manufactured in Italy by Ludovico Martelli S.p.A.

PRORASO thus continues a family tradition of production associated with Florence and Italy.
