About the Brand

The GUESS brand was founded in 1981 by the Marciano brothers, who came to the USA from the south of France.

GUESS started as a denim brand, with early styles including the slim-fit stonewashed 3-zip Marilyn jeans. The first department store to order the brand's jeans was Bloomingdale's.
