About the Brand
The first fashion show of the Rabanne fashion house took place on 1 February 1966 at the Hotel George V in Paris. It presented the concept of 12 unwearable dresses, and the first collection also featured rhodoid pieces connected by metal rings.
The Paco Rabanne fragrance division was established in France in 1968. A year later, Calandre, the house's first women's perfume, was introduced. Puig acquired the entire business, including fashion and accessories, in 1987. Later, the name Paco Rabanne was simplified to Rabanne, and the new logo is a direct reference to Calandre.
Behind the fragrance stands a house with a perfume history dating back to 1968.
