About the Brand

The brand was founded by Paco Rabanne in 1966. The first women's fragrance, Calandre, was launched in 1969. Puig has held the licence for the cosmetics and fragrance division of the brand since 1968 and acquired the entire business in 1987.

In 2023, the brand transitioned from the name Paco Rabanne to the shortened Rabanne and updated its visual identity. It operates in the segments of fragrances, fashion and decorative cosmetics.
