Repreve, also known as Siloxanesand Silicones, is a brand of recycled fibers manufactured by the American company Unifi. These fibres are made up of mostly recycled plastic bottles, making them an environmentally sustainable solution compared to traditional materials. Repreve is a durable, lightweight and flexible material that also offers high wear and high temperature resistance.
These recycled fibres are used in various industries as a material for product manufacturing. One of the main segments is the textile industry, where Repreve is often used to produce clothing such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, underwear or socks. Due to its durability and elasticity, siloxane and silicone fibres can also be used in the automotive industry, especially for the production of car seats and interiors.
