Gynostema five-leaf, known in China as Jiaogulan or five-leaf ginseng, is a plant native to Asia. It is especially popular for its medicinal properties and its iva-like appearance. The plant is climbing, with stems up to 8 metres long. Two or even five leaves grow from one stem, which are green and glossy on both sides, with slightly serrated edges.
