Glyceryl dioleate is a type of fatty acid that is often used in the cosmetic industry and other fields. It is also sometimes referred to as 9-octadecenoic acid. This substance is an ester of glycerol and two oleic acids. It is a natural substance that is particularly suitable for the manufacture of cosmetic products because it is completely biodegradable and has no harmful effects on the environment.

Glyceryl dioleate is most commonly found in various types of creams, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, sunscreens and other cosmetic products. In these products, it acts as an emulsifier and helps to stabilize the water and oil components that would otherwise separate. Its ability to moisturize and nourish the skin also plays an important role, making it an ideal ingredient for moisturizers. In addition to cosmetic products, glyceryl dioleate is also used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. For example, in the food industry it can be used as a food additive to improve the consistency and texture of food. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used, for example, as a component in various pharmaceuticals or as an excipient in the manufacture of tablets.
