Cayenne (Melaleuca leucadendra)

Kajeput, also known as Cajeput or Punk tree, is a tree native to Malaysia, Indonesia and Australia, belonging to the Myrtle family. Its Latin name is Melaleuca Leucadendra. This tree reaches a height of up to 30 metres, has a solid bark of light grey colour and stands out with its narrow, friendly leaves with transparent glands. Kajeput is popular for its rapid growth, making it useful for reforestation after damage. In addition, it is an important source of essential oil.
