This interpretation was created by Francis Kurkdjian, Dior's Creative Director of Perfume Creation. The composition has a Parfum concentration and is built on the following fragrance pyramid:

• The opening features iris with both its airy and intense facets. Its rhizome brings nuances reminiscent of coffee and chocolate, while the floral aspect carries soft petal accents.
• The heart is formed by an amber accord.
• The base unfolds with patchouli and vetiver.

The amber accord further contains a prominent vetiver and a high proportion of coumarin with a dry, freshly cut hay nuance. The declared composition includes, among other things, alcohol, parfum, water, bergamot oil, lavender oil or extract, and patchouli oil.

This contrasting composition offers you both a delicate floral facet and an intense amber-woody character within a single fragrance.

About the Brand

The history of the Christian Dior fashion house began in 1946 with the founding of a haute couture establishment. The brand launched at the Parisian address of 30 Avenue Montaigne, where the company continues to be headquartered. Christian Dior's first collection, later known as the New Look, was presented on 12 February 1947. That same year, the house also introduced its first fragrance, Miss Dior. The brand's perfume creation is today led by Francis Kurkdjian.
