Xerjoff Groove Xcape unisex perfume offers women and men a woody and oriental profile, in which spicy notes intertwine with resins, florals and wood. It belongs to the Xerjoff Blends collection and was created as an interdisciplinary fusion of perfumery and music.

Fragrance and Composition

The fragrance was launched in 2023 and its composition was created by perfumer Karine Vinchon-Spehner.

• Top notes: cardamom, ginger, pepper and elemi
• Heart: myrrh, incense, mimosa and rose
• Base: patchouli, benzoin, cedarwood and labdanum
• Type: Perfume

The first three items of the disclosed composition are Alcohol Denat., Parfum and Aqua. Pogostemon Cablin oil, i.e. patchouli oil, is also included.

Groove Xcape was created in collaboration with Italian musician Max Casacci, co-founder of the band Subsonica. The inspiration was his track Groove X-capes, created from the sounds of swirling, spraying and clinking of Xerjoff perfumes.

You get a composition that transitions from a spicy opening through a resinous and floral heart to a base of patchouli, benzoin and cedarwood.

The bottle contains 50 ml of perfume.

About the Brand

Xerjoff was founded by Sergio Momo and Dominique Salvo in 2007 in Turin, Italy. In the same year, it presented its first collection 17/17 Stone Label, followed by the Shooting Stars collection in 2009. Sergio Momo also revived the historic Italian perfume house Casamorati under the Xerjoff brand in 2009.

Xerjoff combines traditional distillation processes with modern extraction technologies. The artisanal elements used by the brand include genuine Murano glass, engravings by Tuscan glassmakers and semi-precious stones crafted by jewellers in Valenza Po. The distinctive bottle stopper is inspired by the Egyptian red crown Deshret.

Behind the fragrance stands a Turin-based brand that combines perfume creation, traditional processes, modern technologies and specialised craftsmanship.
