The colour (toning) glosses of the Henne Color range are gentle hair dyes enriched with henna extract, a natural plant that has a very positive effect on hair. The glosses do not damage the hair structure and do not irritate the skin. With their regular use, you will achieve a rich colour shade and a natural shine of your hair.

Henna toning glosses can excellently cover grey hair and can be used on chemically damaged hair without any problem. If you want your hair to shine beautifully after application and retain its shape, we recommend using colour glosses with Henna. The glosses do not contain peroxide like chemical dyes, but contain mainly mineral substances. The colour washes out after approximately 6 hair washes.

Maximum caution applies to chemically lightened hair and hair after a perm, where it is essential to wait at least 6–8 weeks before using a gloss, and it is then advisable to shorten the application time.

Use:

Apply the gloss to clean, towel-dried hair. I recommend using protective gloves and dividing the hair into several sections so that the product is applied evenly. Gently work the cream into the lengths and ends, and also towards the roots depending on whether you want to unify the whole head or just revive the lengths. For an even result, it is very useful to comb the hair with a wide-tooth comb after application. Leave on according to the instructions on the packaging – a shorter time will usually bring a gentle tone refresh, while longer exposure can intensify the result. Then rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. If you want to support softness and shine, treat your hair to a conditioner or mask after rinsing. With blonde hair, it often holds true that the gentler and more regular the care, the more beautiful and calm the overall impression.

• 1. First wash your hair with a silicone-free shampoo, ideally from the Henne Color product range. Then dry with a towel.
• 2. Apply a rich cream or oil to the skin contours around the hairline to prevent skin staining.
• 3. Wearing protective gloves, apply an adequate amount of the creamy gloss to the hair. Use a fine-tooth comb to distribute the product evenly in all directions to achieve coverage of all hair. For short hair, approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of the bottle content is sufficient.
• 4. Then cover the hair with a plastic cap and wrap the head in a towel for a thermal reaction.
• 5. Leave the gloss on for 20 to 45 minutes depending on the desired intensity of the resulting colour.
• 6. After the exposure time has elapsed, rinse the hair thoroughly with a stream of water without using shampoo.
• 7. Dry and style the hair according to your usual routine.

The 90 ml packaging is practical for a single application as well as for trying out a shade if you are just getting acquainted with glosses. For short to medium-length hair it is generally sufficient for a complete application; for long or very thick hair a larger amount may be needed to achieve an even result from roots to ends. The compact size is also suitable for travel when you want to be able to quickly refresh your look, for example before an important event. The cream form is also convenient: the product is easier to control during application, it does not run as much as liquid variants, and you can be more confident that you will manage the job cleanly and calmly.

The Blonde shade may manifest differently on your hair depending on the base colour, porosity and previous colouring. On lighter hair the effect is usually more visible and can beautifully unify the tone; on darker blonde or light brown hair it will often show more as a gentle brightening and softening of highlights. If your ends are drier or more porous, they may "grab" colour more intensely – in that case it helps to apply the gloss to the lengths first and to the most sensitive ends later, or to shorten the exposure time. For longer-lasting results, I recommend gentle washing with lukewarm water, heat protection when blow-drying and regular nourishment of the lengths.
