About the brand

The brand was founded by Paco Rabanne in 1966. The first show of the Rabanne fashion house was held on 1 February 1966 at the Hotel George V in Paris, presenting a collection featuring rhodoid lamellae and discs connected by metal rings.

Paco Rabanne's fragrance division was established in France in 1968. A year later, the brand launched its first fragrance, Calandre. In 1987, Puig acquired the entire Paco Rabanne business, including fashion and accessories.
