Escentric Molecules Escentric 02 is a unisex eau de toilette for women and men seeking a fresh, musky and woody fragrance character. The minerally amber Ambroxan is combined with citrus, spicy, floral, musky and woody notes. The manufacturer describes the resulting effect as long-lasting freshness complemented by a subtle sensuality in the dry-down.

Fragrance and Composition

The composition contains 13.5% Ambroxan, a nature-identical aromatic molecule with a minerally smooth amber character. The fragrance was created by perfumer Geza Schoen and launched in 2008.

• Top: Almdudler accord, juniper berries, mandarin, lime and bergamot.
• Heart: ginger, freesia, clary sage, pink pepper, Hedione and iris.
• Base: Muscone, Ambroxan, vetiver and tonka.
• Hedione represents a green jasmine bud note, Muscone a musky note.
• Concentration: Eau de Toilette.

The current list of ingredients includes Alcohol Denat., Parfum (Fragrance), Aqua (Water), Limonene, Linalool, Citral, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Eugenol and Geraniol.

About the Brand

Escentric Molecules is an independent fragrance house built on the intersection of aromatic molecules, art and chemistry. The brand was co-founded in London in 2006 by perfumer Geza Schoen and creative director Paul White.

Since its inception, it has rejected the traditional division of fragrances into masculine, feminine, seasonal or trend-driven categories. Its fragrances are created for skin without gender designation. Geza Schoen trained at Haarmann & Reimer, now part of Symrise, where he worked for more than ten years.
