About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded by Javier Goyeneche in 2009. The brand name is derived from the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. Its goal is to create recycled products with quality and design comparable to those made from non-recycled materials.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which works with the fishing industry to collect ocean waste and transform it into yarns and textiles. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corporation certification, and a year later obtained PETA Vegan certification as well as the PETA Vegan Fashion Award.

The brand thus combines the use of recycled materials with concrete projects and verified certifications.
