About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who also serves as the brand's president. Its name is derived from the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. The first collection and the first flagship store in Madrid were launched in 2012 after three years of research and development.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project. Working in collaboration with the fishing industry, it collects marine waste and transforms it into new materials. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first fashion company in Spain to receive B Corp certification. In 2022, B Corp ranked it among the top 5% of Best for the World companies in the environmental category.
