About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009. Its founder and president is Javier Goyeneche, with the brand's name and concept inspired by his sons Alfredo and Álvaro. The first collection was launched in 2012 after three years of research and development.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project. Working in collaboration with the fishing industry, it collects marine waste and transforms it into yarn and fabrics. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification. It completed its third certification in 2025 with a score of 122.7 points.
