About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who also serves as the brand's president. Its name and concept were inspired by his sons Alfredo and Álvaro. The original vision was to limit the reckless exploitation of natural resources and to create recycled products with quality and design comparable to non-recycled goods.

In 2015, the Ecoalf Foundation was established to support the Upcycling the Oceans project. This initiative focuses on collecting ocean waste and transforming it into yarn and textiles. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification. In 2022, it received the Best for the World award from B Corp and ranked among the top 5% of companies in the environmental category.

Ecoalf thus combines production from recycled materials with long-term projects focused on ocean waste and natural resources.
