About the brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who serves as the brand's president. Its name was inspired by the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro.

In 2015, the Ecoalf Foundation was established to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which collects ocean waste and transforms it into yarns and textiles. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification.

Behind the jacket is a brand with a history dating back to 2009, its own foundation, and B Corp certification.
