About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who serves as its founder and president. The brand was established with a vision to reduce the unsustainable use of natural resources and to create recycled products comparable in quality and design to non-recycled ones.

In 2015, the Ecoalf Foundation was established to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which focuses on collecting ocean waste and transforming it into yarn and fabrics. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first fashion company in Spain to receive B Corp certification. In 2022, the brand ranked among the top 5% of B Corp companies in the environmental category of the Best for the World award.
