About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded by Javier Goyeneche in 2009. Its name is derived from the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. After three years of research and development, the brand launched its first collection in 2012 and opened its first flagship store in Madrid.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which collects marine waste and returns selected materials to production as secondary raw materials. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification.
