About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who also serves as the brand's president. Its name and concept were inspired by his sons Alfredo and Álvaro. The original vision was to create recycled products with quality and design comparable to high-quality non-recycled items.

The first collection and flagship store in Madrid were launched in 2012 after three years of research and development.

In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification. It completed its third certification in 2025 with a score of 122.7 points.
