About the brand

Ecoalf was founded in 2009 by Javier Goyeneche, who is also the brand's president. Its name is derived from the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. The original goal was to create recycled products with quality and design comparable to non-recycled goods.

In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corporation certification. The Ecoalf Foundation, established in 2015, focuses on innovation in the circular economy and ocean conservation.
