About the Brand

The Ecoalf brand was founded in 2009. Its founder and president is Javier Goyeneche, who derived the name from the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. From the outset, the brand's goal was to create recycled products with quality and design comparable to those made from non-recycled materials.

In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification. In 2022, it was listed among B Corp Best for the World and among the top 5% of companies in the environmental category.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project. Working in collaboration with the fishing industry, it collects marine waste and transforms it into yarn and textiles.
