About the Brand

Ecoalf was founded by Javier Goyeneche in 2009. The name was created by combining the names of his sons Alfred and Álvaro. After three years of research and development, the first collection was launched in 2012 and the first flagship store was opened in Madrid.

The Ecoalf Foundation was established in 2015 to support the Upcycling the Oceans project, which collects marine waste and processes it into yarn and textiles. In 2018, Ecoalf became the first Spanish fashion company to receive B Corp certification.
