Key Benefits

The primer's shaped silicone brush evenly coats and separates lashes. A mineral pigment gives it a dark indigo shade designed to enhance the eyes and deepen the final black colour of the mascara.

The hourglass-shaped mascara brush adapts to the natural curve of the lash line. The mascara can be layered before drying for greater volume, length and more intense black definition. The formula is water-resistant, though it is not classified as fully waterproof.

The dual brush design and layerable colour allow you to first separate and then define your lashes to your desired intensity.

Ingredients

The primer contains, among other ingredients, panthenol, glycerin, tocopherol, nettle extract and Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17. The mascara features panthenol, biotin, tocopherol and extracts of calendula, green tea and rosemary.

According to the manufacturer, peptides and panthenol help strengthen and nourish lashes, improve their flexibility and reduce breakage; polymers and plant extracts support hydration and shine. Biotin and Soft Flex polymers enable colour layering and contribute to thickening, lengthening and defining lashes.

The formula combines nourishing ingredients with pigments and polymers that support lash flexibility and the gradual build-up of colour effect.

Application and Dosage

Apply the primer to clean lashes from the roots using a rotating motion upwards and outwards. Continue with the mascara using the same technique. For greater length and volume, add another coat before the previous one dries.

When used according to these instructions, the set lasts approximately three months.

Gradual application gives you control over the final volume and intensity of the black shade.

About the Brand

RevitaLash Cosmetics was founded in 2006 by ophthalmologist Michael Brinkenhoff, M.D. He created the original lash conditioner for his wife Gayle during her breast cancer treatment. Gayle came up with the name RevitaLash, and the first lash serum was launched in 2007.

The Volumizing Primer and Volumizing Mascara were introduced in 2009 as the brand's first colour cosmetics. The duo later became the Double-Ended Volume Set. A portion of the proceeds from purchases is donated by the brand to breast cancer research, treatment and awareness.
