About the Brand

The house of Dior was founded in 1946. Its first fragrance, Miss Dior, accompanied Christian Dior's first fashion show on Avenue Montaigne on 12 February 1947 and was inspired by his younger sister Catherine.

Parfums Christian Dior works with growers in the Grasse region. Their May roses and Grandiflorum jasmine are reserved for select fragrances of the brand; flowers and floral hearts are, according to Dior, a defining part of its perfumery style.
