Fragrance and Composition

A citrus-aromatic composition uniting Calabrian San Carlo bergamot, velvety floral hedione, and a distinctive chypre trail. The fragrance was launched in 1966 and was created by perfumer Edmond Roudnitska.

• Top notes: lemon, bergamot, basil, rosemary, cumin, and fruity tones
• Heart notes: jasmine, coriander, carnation, patchouli, iris root, sandalwood, rose, lavender, and hedione
• Base notes: oakmoss, vetiver, musk, and amber
• San Carlo bergamot is sourced from Calabria and harvested exclusively for Dior.
• Hedione lends the composition a velvety floral character.
• The dry-down is defined by a distinctive chypre trail.

The result is a layered men's fragrance in which a citrus opening transitions into a floral heart and a chypre finish.

Apply a small amount of eau de toilette directly from the bottle rather than spraying.

About the Brand

The fashion house Dior was founded by Christian Dior in 1946 at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris. On 12 February 1947, he presented his first collection in the salons there. That same year, Miss Dior, the brand's first perfume, was also created.
