The front plow can be tilted, raised and lowered to suit the scenario being played out. You can place LEGO pieces representing gritting salt into the hopper; pushing the vehicle activates the spreading action.
Flipping open the cab gives access to the engine model. While building, you can zoom in and rotate the model in 3D in the LEGO Builder app, save your progress and track how far you've come. The finished model can be combined with other separately sold LEGO City sets.
The manufacturer warns of a choking hazard from small parts.
The steerable plow, gritting function and engine access extend play possibilities even after the build is complete.

About the Brand
The LEGO Group was founded by Ole Kirk Kristiansen in 1932. The name LEGO was created by combining the Danish words "leg godt", meaning "play well". The current form of the brick, with its interlocking system of inner tubes, was introduced in 1958. The company is headquartered in Billund, Denmark, remains privately owned and continues to be owned by the Kirk Kristiansen family.
The set builds on the company's history dating back to 1932 and the form of the LEGO brick introduced in 1958.
