Medik8 Blemish SOS Rapid Action Target Gel is a fast-acting spot treatment for individual blemishes and other imperfections. It is suitable for clogged pores, excess sebum production and visible redness. It dries quickly, is invisible on the skin and can also be applied under or over makeup.

Ingredients

• 2% salicylic acid exfoliates inside the pores and helps to break down built-up sebum and dead skin cells.
• Niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3, helps to hydrate, support the skin barrier and soothe visible irritation.
• Azelaic acid is said by the manufacturer to act against bacteria associated with the formation of blemishes.
• Octadecenedioic acid helps to regulate excess sebum production and prevent further blemishes.
• The product is fragrance-free and contains no synthetic dyes or parabens.

The formula targets clogged pores, excess sebum and visible irritation while also supporting hydration and the skin barrier.

How to Use

Use morning and/or evening after cleansing. Apply a small amount directly to the problem area with a clean finger, gently rub in and allow to dry. The gel can be applied to clean skin as well as under or over makeup. A mild tingling sensation after application is normal.

Before first use, perform a patch test at least 24 hours in advance. If you are new to salicylic acid or have sensitive skin, do not use Blemish SOS and the 2% salicylic acid toner Press & Clear in the same routine.

Simple spot application allows you to treat a specific blemish in the morning, evening or while wearing makeup.

About the Brand

Medik8 was founded in 2009 by British scientist Elliot Isaacs. Its CSA philosophy is built on vitamin C and sun protection during the day and vitamin A in the evening. Almost all products are developed and manufactured in its own ISO-certified innovation centre near London.

Medik8 received B Corp certification in 2023. Since 2019, all products have been internally classified as suitable for vegans, meaning they contain no ingredients of animal origin.
